Superresolution

Microscopy

Superresolution microscopy enables fluorescence imaging of structures too small for traditional methods, such as deconvolution or confocal microscopy. Carl Zeiss has integrated two methods of superresolution into one turn-key platform. ELYRA supports superresolution structured illumination (SR-SIM) and/or photoactivated localization microscopy (PALM). You are also able to combine our confocal laser scanning microscopes LSM 780 or LSM 710 with ELYRA.

In Biosciences, superresolution microscopy opens a new window to the tiniest block of cells. Until now, light microscopy has been the preferred technique but with limitations to structure size.  You want to know more and now, with ELYRA from Carl Zeiss, you will.
